Prices

All of our webshop prices include the current value-added tax. Ipanainen reserves the right to change prices in cases of, for example, technical errors in which the webshop displays incorrect prices.

Processing orders

When you place an order in our webshop, you will get a confirmation e-mail right away. After this you will get a separate e-mail notification when your order has been packed and is leaving our warehouse. When your order is sent as a parcel, you will also get a tracking code with which you can collect your parcel from the post office as soon as it arrives. If you register in our webshop, you can also track your order on your own page.

Delivery time

If items are normally available in our webshop supply, we will ship orders within 2 to 5 business days from ordering.

Availability

The availability of webshop items applies to orders placed in the webshop, which are delivered from our webshop warehouse. In other words, the webshop stock details do not correspond to the availability of items in our shop. The product range in our shop may vary. Please contact us, if you want to confirm the availability of an item in our shop.

We do our best to have the correct information about availability and delivery times in our webshop. However, it is possible that there are errors in the availability information or the availability of certain items has changed due to, for example, great demand or suppliers’ delays. Orders are shipped in the order that they are received.  

Ipanainen reserves the right to not deliver an order or parts of it if items are not available within a reasonable time. In such a case, you have the right to cancel your order and get back the money you paid. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail or phone and agree on a possible backorder or cancellation. You also have the right to change your order to an alternative product or service.

Delivery methods

Webshop orders are delivered via different Posti delivery methods or Matkahuolto. It is also possible to collect your order from our shop in Hakaniemi. You select the delivery method in the webshop shopping cart.

Small Parcel (inside Finland only)

Small Parcel is an affordable and easy way to send light goods that fit into a mail slot or box. Delivered anywhere in Finland together with day mail. Deliveries are made on weekdays. Delivery Time 2-3 working days, maximum Dimensions 35,3 x 25 x 3 cm, maximum weight 2 kg. Small Parcels come with a light tracking service that allows the sender to use item tracking to see when the parcel is being processed by Posti. If the shipment does not fit the mail slot or box, the shipment will be delivered to the recipient’s local postal outlet to be picked up. If the recipient does not collect the shipment from the postal outlet, the shipment will be returned to the sender after 14 days.

Pick-up from a SmartPOST parcel point (inside Finland only)

Pick up your order from the SmartPOST parcel point of your choice. Posti’s dense network and the long evening and weekend opening hours of shops and shopping centres ensure that you can pick up your parcel when it best suits you. Pick-up from a post office (inside Finland only)

You can pick up your parcel from the post office of your choice. You get instructions on how to pick up your parcel by SMS when your parcel arrives. Check the location of post offices.

Matkahuolto Near parcel (inside Finland only)

The parcel is delivered to the Parcel Pick-up Point nearest to the recipient’s address or chosen by the sender (Matkahuolto agent, Siwa, Valintatalo or other Matkahuolto parel pick-up point) within 1-3 workdays from sending. Search for service points here. The maximum parcel weight is 10 kg. You can track and trace your parcel with your consignment number online. The recipient will get an SMS notification when the parcel is ready to be collected. The parcel is collected at the service point indicated in the arrival notification. Parcels are handed over on presentation of an ID. Acceptable IDs are a driving license, passport and identity card issued by the police. If the parcel is picked up by someone other than the recipient indicated in the address card, the person collecting the parcel must have a written authorisation to collect it in addition to an acceptable ID. Parcels are held at the pick-up point for 14 days after which any uncollected parcels will be returned to the dispatching Matkahuolto terminal at the consignor’s expense.

Deliveries abroad

The webshop delivery charges apply to deliveries in Mainland Finland. We deliver internationally, too, and the webshop automatically calculates the charges according to the country of destination. The customer is responsible for the cost of international shipping and all possible customs duties for the country of destination. Ipanainen reserves the right to adjust the delivery charges of webshop orders outside of Finland. Contact us before ordering if you wish to ask about deliveries abroad.

Delivery charges inside Finland

The webshop delviery charges are determined by the size of the delivered order and the selected delivery method. The webshop calculates the charges automatically.

  • Small Parcel: €3.90
  • SmartPOST parcels: €5.90 (according to the maximum size of smartPOST parcels)
  • Parcels picked up from a post office: €5.90
  • Matkahuolto Near parcels: €5.90
  • Pick-up from Ipanainen shop: free of charge

If the weight of one of the ordered items or the combined weight of the items together requires being sent as a parcel, you cannot select letter as the delivery method. SmartPOST parcels are delivered in the parcel point you select at the webshop checkout. If the size of the parcel exceeds the size of the SmartPOST parcel boxes, Posti will redirect your parcel to the nearest post office and notify you.

International delivery charges

With international orders the delivery charge is calculated automatically when checking out based on the delivery address.

Pick-up from our shop

Your order will be ready to be picked up from our shop within 1-5 business days from ordering. You will receive a notification when your order is ready to be picked up.

Do note that the availability of items in our webshop applies to orders placed in our webshop, which are delivered from our webshop warehouse in Eno. I.e. all items are not readily available in our shop. The product range and availability in our shop may vary. Thus it is not advisable to come to pick up your order before you have received the arrival notification, as the item ordered from the webshop may not be available in the shop.

Returns, exchanges and complaints

You have the right to return or exchange your webshop order delivered in Finland free of charge within 14 days. With orders delivered abroad, you are responsible for all costs related to returns and exchanges.
